How to embarass yourself in public.
Please, please don't let this be my 15 minutes of fame because I was REALLY hoping for 15 minutes with Brad Pitt. He is totally on my list.
Blog one, purl two, or how to get along on the 'Inter-knit'.
Disclaimer: I have a fear of reporters. I worked in a non-profit job as an environmental scientist/advocate. Reporters are not always your friends, they tend to find the most backassward thing you say and print it up. This one wasn't too bad, the fault is all mine. I broke an eternal rule with this one, I spoke off the cuff. I was totally flabbergasted that anyone would be interested in anything that I had to say about anything. Please forgive my gooberness.
It must have been a slow week in our neighborhood. She interviewed me months ago. I had forgotten about it until today.
Thanks for hipping me to this Kris.
PS - I just received official word...The Demons have arrived!!! Mama and Babies are doing well. Melanie will post pictures when she is up and at 'em. Which, really, might be in 18 years. Congrats Melanie!!! We love you....

I think the article is great - I really enjoyed reading it. And yay for Melanie and the demon twins!
Great article! I think the author picked a great person to interview - you come across as very natural and well spoken.
Very nice, not gooberish in the least.
Great news about Melanie and the twins as well.
gooberish? nahh!! Your famous now! I really enjoyed the article! 5 stars!
I thought you came across as very ungoobery. Way to represent!
I didn't detect any gooberness. :)
What gooberness?
Congratulations to Melanie, the Mister, and the newest kids on the block!!!
i like this line "Wearing a hand knit is like taking all of the power in the world and funneling it through your body. You can do anything in a hand knit. Yarn has been manipulated into a structure that now envelops your body. Anything is possible." it makes it sound like a handknit is a super hero cape. which is cool.
and yay for the demons! do you think this will become a problem? us calling these poor children "demons?"
You are SO FAMOUS! It was a totally ok interview, and had loads of real truths in in--for me anyway. Like meeting with other bloggers and knitters, or the thnking/meditative power of knitting. It was great! you are too hard on yourself.
I thought the interview was great. No goobers. And thank you thank you thank you thank you for posting about the safe arrival of the demon twins! I may have let out a small 'squee' when I read that. Except for the part where I'm just not a sqeeing kind of girl. Ahem.
You are so NOT a goober. Great interview!
Yeah for the demons arriving! Melanie must be so relieved!
Very cool! Congrats.
Excellent article! You're very well-spoken and interesting, and I enjoyed reading it. Congrats to Melanie.
You are so famous now that Brad Pitt will be wishing for 15 minutes with you ;) Great article and not gooberish at all!
I agree with all the positive comments! You cannot have Brad Pitt, though, until I'm done with him. He will be very tired.
You're famous, and I spot no goobery-ness! awesome... You sounded great!
Though, I do hope you still get 15 mins with Mr Pitt. And consider sharing him! And maybe, get him to call his buddy Mr Clooney for me?
How cool is THAT? And I think you have at least 10 minute left for Brad...
; )
So cool! I think the article did a good job of portraying you and blogging - didn't seem like there was much of a slant. :)
Great article! Not gooberish, until the mention of SWF... Haha, just kidding. ;)
OH MY GOD YOU'RE FAMOUS! And my absolute favorite goober.
I liked that article alot. Not gooberish...I would have said most of that too.
I hate to be so unoriginal, but that was a great article! Way to go Wendy! :)
You did good. Not a trace of gooberness in the article at all.
So not your 15 mintues of fame. That's still coming.
Congrats, Melanie!
How fun! I thought you came across very cool in the article!
I am also scared of reporters- mostly because of working at a university and being interviewed by inept student reporters. ack. ;)
Even if you didn't say these things, they don't sound at all bad!!
Way to go.
I must stick my neck (nose?) out more.
Way to go, girly.
